A permanent Roblox ban means Roblox has closed your account and does not plan to reopen it. It is not the same as legally final. If you have not appealed yet, do it through the route in the notice: you have 30 days, or six months if you live in the EU. If Roblox already reviewed it, people in the EU can still go to a certified dispute body and to court.

What "permanent" means

Roblox can end your account in two ways under its terms for the EEA. Normally it gives reasonable advance written notice. For good cause, it may end the account at once, but then it must give you a statement of reasons. The terms also say that for severe breaches Roblox may close an account immediately and without prior warning.

"Permanent" describes Roblox's intention. Under the Digital Services Act, if you live in the EU, that decision can still be challenged, and a wrong decision must be reversed without undue delay.

What you lose, and what to note now

Robux. Roblox's EEA terms say Robux become invalid when an account is terminated, unless the law requires otherwise. Write down your balance and recent purchases with dates and amounts.
Items and games. Note the items you bought and the experiences you made. Screenshots from before the ban help.
Groups. If you owned a group, Roblox may name a new owner. Tell your co-admins.
Friends. Your friends list goes with the account. Keep in touch through other ways you already use, but don't make a new Roblox account.

Your options in the EU

If you live in the EU:

Appeal within six months if you have not yet. Use the route in the notice: Violations and Appeals or the support form. Roblox says only the owner may appeal.
Ask for proper reasons (DSA Art. 17): the facts, the rule, whether automated tools were used, and how to challenge it. "Severe violation" alone is not specific.
A certified dispute body (DSA Art. 21). Free or a small fee, a decision within 90 days of your complete complaint, and Roblox pays the fees and your reasonable costs if you win. The decision is not binding, but Roblox must engage in good faith. Use the dispute body finder.
Your data (GDPR Art. 15). A free copy within one month. After a permanent ban you may not be able to log in, so use the support form (roblox.com/support).
Court. That right stays open.

Outside the EU, Roblox's own appeal is the main route, and its global rules give one review within 30 days.

For parents

A permanent ban can feel like losing a whole world of friends and creations. Stay calm with your child and find out what happened before you write anything. If the ban came after a hacked account or a sibling using the device, say so clearly and early. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to help you. Avoid the traps

People who lost a Roblox account are targets for "recovery" offers and fake support accounts. Roblox will never ask for your password, and nobody can sell you an unban. If you think the ban was a mistake, read banned by mistake on Roblox. If Roblox already said no, see Roblox appeal denied.

On Roblox specifically

Your Robux. Roblox's EEA terms say that if your account is terminated for any reason, all Robux in it become invalid, unless the law requires otherwise.
Groups you own. Roblox's EEA terms say that if an owner's account is suspended or terminated, Roblox may name a new owner for the group.
