Terms
Updated 21 October 2026
These terms apply when you use bannedsocials.com and when you buy a document pack or the agency plan. Banned Socials is a service of Elbek, the sole trader business of Søren Elbek in Finland (business ID 3570992-5). Your contract is with Elbek. Contact: [email protected].
What we do
We provide a free online check and ready-to-send documents (letters and texts) that you create by answering questions. The documents are built from fixed, pre-written text blocks and the facts you give us. We do not give individual legal advice, we are not lawyers, and we do not represent you. We never contact a platform on your behalf, never log into your account and never ask for your password.
What we don't promise
No one can promise that a platform will restore an account, content or earnings. Whether and how a platform, a dispute body or a court decides is outside our control.
Who can buy
You must be 18 or older, or have a parent's or guardian's consent.
Your part
You are responsible for the facts you give us and for checking each document before you send it. Change anything that is not true or not complete. You decide whether, when and how to send a document.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros and are total prices. You pay through Stripe before your documents are delivered. The agency plan is billed monthly in advance until you cancel. You can cancel it at any time with effect from the end of the paid month.
Delivery and right of withdrawal
Your documents are delivered as soon as your payment is confirmed: on a download page and by email. As a consumer in the EU you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. For digital content that is delivered straight away, this right ends when delivery starts, if you have agreed to immediate delivery and confirmed that you know you lose the right. We ask for both before you pay. If you don't give them, you can't buy the pack.
Refunds
If we cannot generate your documents after you have paid, we refund the full price automatically. If your documents are not in conformity with the contract, you have the statutory rights under the law of your country: we bring them into conformity or refund you. Tell us at [email protected].
Retention
We delete your case data and documents 90 days after your order, or earlier if you delete them yourself on your download page. Download what you need to keep.
Liability
We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and under mandatory law. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the damage typical and foreseeable for this contract. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Complaints and disputes
Write to [email protected] if you are not happy. We answer within 14 days. Consumers in Finland can also take a dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta). Consumers in other EU countries can get free help from the European Consumer Centre in their country (ECC-Net). Finnish law applies, without taking away the protection that the law of your home country gives you as a consumer.
