Account banned on Pornhub?

If Pornhub disabled your account, removed your uploads or stopped your payouts, save every email and notice first. Then complain. Pornhub's Terms say you can email [email protected] from your account's email address within six months of the decision. If you live in the EU, the Digital Services Act gives you a right to reasons, a free complaint and an outside dispute body. Pornhub is for adults only, and so is this page.

Why acting early matters: Pornhub's terms say the deadline for a complaint is six months after you are notified of the decision. The longer an account is down, the more followers, customers and conversations move on. See what is at stake

How Pornhub bans work

Who is affected

Most people who lose something real on Pornhub are creators. Models in the Model Program and studios in the Content Partner Program earn a share of revenue, paid monthly once a minimum payout amount is reached. A ban can stop that income and cut off access to uploads and statements. Viewers with a normal account can also be banned, usually with less at stake.

The provider is Aylo Freesites Ltd in Cyprus. The European Commission designated Pornhub a very large online platform in December 2023, so the full set of DSA rules applies to it.

What can happen on Pornhub
  • Disabled: the account no longer works and you cannot log in.
  • Suspended: access is blocked for a time, for example while documents are checked.
  • Restricted: uploads, monetisation or payouts are limited while the account stays open.
  • Appeal denied: Pornhub answered your complaint and kept the decision.
  • How long: how long reviews take and the legal time limits in the EU.
  • Permanently banned: what a final termination means and what is still open.
  • Business account: models and studios who lose earnings or payouts.
  • Banned by mistake: hacked accounts, document errors, mistaken identity and automated flags.
Your EU route

If you live in the EU:

  1. Statement of reasons (DSA Art. 17). Pornhub must say what it decided, the facts, the rule, whether automated tools were used, and how to challenge it. This covers suspending or ending monetisation too. Pornhub sends these statements to the Commission's DSA Transparency Database.
  2. Internal complaint (DSA Art. 20). Free, for at least six months. Pornhub's Terms name the email route above. A person must be involved, and a wrong decision must be reversed without undue delay. Since June 2026 creators also have an appeal tool for content removals. Pornhub says account ban appeals there are only planned, so use the email route for a ban.
  3. Out-of-court dispute body (DSA Art. 21). You can go to a certified body, even without complaining first. The Commission's list names no body for Pornhub, but Pornhub says it works with certified bodies, and general bodies may take the case. Use the dispute body finder.
  4. Your data (GDPR Art. 15). A free copy of your personal data, answered within one month. The Privacy Notice names a data protection officer at [email protected].
  5. Court. That right stays open.

Creators may also have rights under the P2B Regulation as business users, depending on the facts. These rules do not cover Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or the UK. Outside the EU, Pornhub's own complaint process is your main route.

Stay safe

Never give your password to anyone and never pay a "recovery" service. Don't open a new account to get around a ban: that can count as evasion and hurt your complaint. Keep your payout statements, verification records and co-performer releases in a safe place. Then run the free ban checker.

What you stand to lose

A ban on Pornhub takes more than a profile. Think about what is on the account before you decide what to do.

  • Years of photos, videos and posts you may not have saved anywhere else
  • Messages and contacts, sometimes the only way you reach certain people
  • The followers, subscribers or community you built
  • Income: sales, sponsorships, payouts and the customers who find you there
  • Other apps and sites where you sign in with this account

On Pornhub specifically

  • Pornhub's terms say that once the terms end, you no longer have a right to access your account or your content.
  • Model Program earnings. Pornhub's terms list restricting, suspending or withholding earnings and payouts among their enforcement measures.

Deadlines that are already running

  • Pornhub's terms say the deadline for a complaint is six months after you are notified of the decision.
  • Complaint to Pornhub: open for at least six months from the day Pornhub told you about the decision (DSA Art. 20).
  • Copy of your data: free, and Pornhub must answer within one month of your request (GDPR Art. 15). It is worth asking now.
