Pornhub creator account banned?

Updated 21 October 2026

Why acting early matters: Pornhub's terms say the deadline for a complaint is six months after you are notified of the decision. The longer an account is down, the more followers, customers and conversations move on. See what is at stake

If you earn on Pornhub as a model or studio and your account was banned, restricted or your payouts stopped, treat it as a business problem first. Save every notice, secure your payout statements and documents, and start a dated loss log today. Then complain by email to [email protected] from your account's email address within six months. In the EU, Pornhub must explain decisions about monetisation, and the P2B Regulation may give you extra rights.

What is at stake

Pornhub has two main programs for people who earn. Models join the Model Program. Studios with their own site join the Content Partner Program. Both earn a share of revenue, paid monthly once a minimum payout amount is reached, and only to the account holder.

The general Terms let Pornhub restrict, suspend or withhold earnings and payouts, and limit a Verified Uploader's ability to monetise. After a breach of the upload rules, they allow it to forfeit accrued or pending earnings. False account information can freeze all pending payments. Pornhub also refers to separate program terms that you accept when you join. We found no public link to them, so keep your own copy or sign-up confirmation.

Do this today

  1. Save the notice and every email about your account, uploads and payouts.
  2. Secure your payout records. Screenshots or downloads of statements, pending amounts and payout history, while you still have access.
  3. Secure your compliance file. Your own ID records, and for every co-performer their ID and signed release, with dates. Pornhub says consent must be renewed every two years.
  4. Start a loss log. One line per item, with dates: payouts expected and not received, uploads removed, deals or bookings lost. Base amounts on your own past statements, not estimates.
  5. Tell partners factually. Co-performers, studios or agencies who share revenue with you should hear it from you.

Missing paperwork is a common cause

Pornhub's help pages say accounts may be temporarily deactivated and payouts delayed until co-performer documents are provided and approved, and that missing agreements may result in payments being withheld. If your notice mentions documents, sending them may be quicker than a formal dispute. Keep proof of what you sent and when.

Your EU rights as a business

If you live in the EU:

Outside the EU, Pornhub's own complaint and creator support are the main routes.

Write it like a business

Keep the complaint short and professional. Name the account and program, the decision and its date, the content or rule Pornhub named, and why the decision is wrong or out of proportion. State the amount held, based on your statements. Confirm that IDs and releases for everyone in the content are on file.

Don't put the rest at risk

Don't upload from a second account or through a partner's account while banned. That can count as getting around the ban. Never pay anyone who promises to release payouts. For timings, see how long a Pornhub review takes. If your complaint failed, read Pornhub appeal denied. The free ban checker and the Pornhub overview cover the rest.

What you stand to lose

A ban on Pornhub takes more than a profile. Think about what is on the account before you decide what to do.

  • Years of photos, videos and posts you may not have saved anywhere else
  • Messages and contacts, sometimes the only way you reach certain people
  • The followers, subscribers or community you built
  • Income: sales, sponsorships, payouts and the customers who find you there
  • Other apps and sites where you sign in with this account

On Pornhub specifically

  • Pornhub's terms say that once the terms end, you no longer have a right to access your account or your content.
  • Model Program earnings. Pornhub's terms list restricting, suspending or withholding earnings and payouts among their enforcement measures.

Deadlines that are already running

  • Pornhub's terms say the deadline for a complaint is six months after you are notified of the decision.
  • Complaint to Pornhub: open for at least six months from the day Pornhub told you about the decision (DSA Art. 20).
  • Copy of your data: free, and Pornhub must answer within one month of your request (GDPR Art. 15). It is worth asking now.

Questions people ask

Can Pornhub withhold my model earnings?

Its Terms allow it to restrict, suspend or withhold earnings and payouts, and for some breaches to forfeit pending earnings. Each of those is a decision you can challenge. In the EU, Pornhub must give reasons when it suspends or ends monetisation.

Where are the Model Program terms?

Pornhub refers to separate terms for the Model Program and the Content Partner Program, accepted when you join. We found no public link to them. Keep the copy or confirmation you received when you signed up.

Does the P2B Regulation apply to Pornhub models?

It may. It gives business users of online intermediation services a statement of reasons when restricted or suspended, and at least 30 days' notice before termination, with exceptions. Whether your account is covered depends on the facts.

Who do models contact about their personal data?

Pornhub's Privacy Notice says models who cannot use the data request links can write to [email protected]. You can also contact the data protection officer at [email protected].
