Pornhub account disabled?
Updated 21 October 2026
A disabled Pornhub account means you cannot log in, and as a creator you may also lose access to uploads and payout pages. Save the email or notice now. Then send a complaint to [email protected] from your account's email address, within six months of the decision. If you live in the EU, the Digital Services Act gives you a right to clear reasons and a free review by a person.
First hour: secure what you can
You may not be able to log in again for a while, so collect what is still in your hands:
- The email or notice that told you the account was disabled, with date and time.
- Your username and the email address linked to the account.
- Your last payout statements and any pending amount you can see in your records.
- Copies of your verification documents and, for each co-performer, their ID and signed release.
- A list of your uploads with titles and dates, if you keep one.
Write down what happened in the days before: a document reminder, a change of payout details, a dispute with a co-performer. That timeline helps you and the reviewer.
Common reasons accounts get disabled
Pornhub does not publish a fixed list of disable messages, so read your notice closely. These are the situations its own pages describe:
- Missing co-performer documents. Pornhub's help pages say accounts may be temporarily deactivated and payouts delayed until the documents are provided and approved.
- Account details that do not match. The Terms say false account information can lead to suspension of all pending payments.
- A breach of the Terms or upload rules. This can lead to restrictions, a hold on earnings or termination.
If the cause is missing paperwork, fixing it may be faster than a formal complaint. Send what is missing and keep proof that you did.
How to complain
Pornhub's Terms describe one route for complaints about decisions on you, your account or your content:
- Write to [email protected] from the email address linked to your account.
- Do it within six months of the decision.
- Say what was decided, when, and why you think it was wrong.
- Write in English or Greek, as the Terms ask.
Stick to facts. Name the account, the date of the notice and what you are asking for: the account restored, the hold on payouts lifted, or at least a clear explanation.
Your EU rights
If you live in the EU:
- DSA Art. 17: Pornhub must give a clear and specific statement of reasons: the facts, the rule, whether automated tools were used, and how to challenge it. This also covers suspending or ending monetisation.
- DSA Art. 20: the complaint is free, open for at least six months, and must not be decided by automated means alone.
- DSA Art. 21: you can go to a certified out-of-court dispute body, even without complaining first. See the dispute body finder.
- GDPR Art. 15: a free copy of your personal data, answered within one month. Ask the data protection officer at [email protected]. Models can also write to [email protected].
- P2B Regulation: if you earn money as a model or studio, it may give you extra rights as a business user.
Outside the EU, Pornhub's own complaint is the main route.
Avoid making it worse
Don't open a new account or upload through someone else's. That can count as getting around the ban and weakens your complaint. Never share your password, and never pay anyone who offers "account recovery". If your account was locked for a set time, see Pornhub account suspended. If you think someone else caused it, read banned by mistake. The Pornhub overview has the full picture, and the free ban checker shows your next step.
What you stand to lose
A ban on Pornhub takes more than a profile. Think about what is on the account before you decide what to do.
- Years of photos, videos and posts you may not have saved anywhere else
- Messages and contacts, sometimes the only way you reach certain people
- The followers, subscribers or community you built
- Income: sales, sponsorships, payouts and the customers who find you there
- Other apps and sites where you sign in with this account
On Pornhub specifically
- Pornhub's terms say that once the terms end, you no longer have a right to access your account or your content.
- Model Program earnings. Pornhub's terms list restricting, suspending or withholding earnings and payouts among their enforcement measures.
Deadlines that are already running
- Pornhub's terms say the deadline for a complaint is six months after you are notified of the decision.
- Complaint to Pornhub: open for at least six months from the day Pornhub told you about the decision (DSA Art. 20).
- Copy of your data: free, and Pornhub must answer within one month of your request (GDPR Art. 15). It is worth asking now.
Questions people ask
Why was my Pornhub account disabled?
The reason should be in the email or notice you received. Common triggers are missing or expired documents, account details that do not match your verification, or a breach of the Terms. If you live in the EU, Pornhub must give you a clear statement of reasons.
How do I contact Pornhub about a disabled account?
Pornhub's Terms point complaints to [email protected]. Write from the email address linked to your account, so they can match it. Keep the message short and in English or Greek.
Can I still get my data from a disabled Pornhub account?
You can ask for a copy under GDPR Art. 15 if you live in the EU. The Privacy Notice names a data protection officer at [email protected], and models who cannot use the data buttons can write to [email protected].
