Permanently banned on Kick?
Updated 21 October 2026
A Kick notice that says "permanent ban" means Kick has decided to close your account for good. It does not mean every door is shut. Kick's DSA guide says permanent bans can be appealed at [email protected]. If you live in the EU, the ban is still a decision Kick must explain, you can complain for free for at least six months, and a certified dispute body can look at it.
What "permanent" means here
Kick's help pages describe a permanent ban as the account being closed permanently. It is the step above an indefinite suspension. Kick's terms also say the service is not available to users Kick has previously removed.
Legally, "permanent" is Kick's view of its own decision. Under EU law, that decision is still open to a complaint, a dispute body and the courts. A platform can reverse a permanent ban, and under the DSA it must reverse a decision without undue delay if a complaint shows it was wrong.
What you may lose
Kick's terms and help pages say:
- Unused KICKs. Unused KICKs and other digital content are forfeited to Kick on termination, unless the law requires otherwise.
- Subscriptions you paid for. No refund for unused subscription time if Kick suspends or terminates your account.
- Followers, subscribers and VODs. Kick says these stay intact during a suspension. Its pages say nothing about what happens after a permanent ban.
If you can still log in to any part of your account, screenshot your balance, subscriptions and channel stats now.
Where Kick draws a hard line
Kick says zero-tolerance violations, such as content involving minors or terrorism, typically lead to permanent bans and are very rarely overturned. If your ban came from a different rule, or from repeat suspensions, an appeal with real context has more room.
Your options
- Appeal to Kick. Email [email protected] from your account email. Include your username, the date of the ban, the reason given, why it should be reviewed, and your evidence. Send it once.
- Ask for proper reasons (DSA Art. 17). If you live in the EU, Kick must give a clear and specific statement of reasons: the facts, the rule, whether automated tools were used, and how to challenge it. A ban with only a rule name is weak on this point.
- Internal complaint (DSA Art. 20). Free, for at least six months after the decision. Kick states no deadline of its own. A person must be involved.
- Dispute body (DSA Art. 21). You can go to a certified body even without using the internal complaint first. None names Kick yet, but general bodies may take the case. Use the dispute body finder and ask the body before filing. If you win, Kick pays the fees and your reasonable costs.
- Your data (GDPR Art. 15). A free copy of your personal data within one month. Kick's privacy policy points to [email protected] and [email protected].
- Court. That right stays open.
Outside the EU, the email appeal to Kick is the main route.
What not to do
- Don't start a new channel. Kick says bans apply to the person, not just the account.
- Don't buy an old Kick account or stream from a friend's. Since the ban applies to you, that is still getting around it.
- Don't pay anyone who claims they can "reverse" a Kick ban, and never share your login.
If you think the ban was a mistake, read banned by mistake on Kick. If Kick already said no, see Kick appeal denied. The Kick overview has the full route.
What you stand to lose
A ban on Kick takes more than a profile. Think about what is on the account before you decide what to do.
- Years of photos, videos and posts you may not have saved anywhere else
- Messages and contacts, sometimes the only way you reach certain people
- The followers, subscribers or community you built
- Income: sales, sponsorships, payouts and the customers who find you there
- Other apps and sites where you sign in with this account
On Kick specifically
- Kick's help pages say your followers, subscribers, content and earnings stay intact during a suspension. The page says nothing about permanent bans.
- Unused KICKs. Kick's terms say unused KICKs and other digital content are forfeited to Kick when your account is terminated, unless the law requires otherwise.
- Paid subscriptions. Kick's terms say that if Kick suspends or terminates your account, there is no refund for unused subscription time.
- Partner Program fees. Kick's Partner terms say that if Kick suspends or bans you for content that breaks its rules, you are not paid for the time spent on that content. Kick may also end your Partner Program place at any time.
- Earnings from KICKs. Kick's KICKs policy says Kick may reverse or withhold your earnings from KICKs and offset them against future payouts if it suspects fraud, chargebacks or a policy breach.
- Time. Kick's help pages say an appeal does not pause your suspension.
Deadlines that are already running
- Complaint to Kick: open for at least six months from the day Kick told you about the decision (DSA Art. 20).
- Copy of your data: free, and Kick must answer within one month of your request (GDPR Art. 15). It is worth asking now.
Questions people ask

Kick's terms say unused KICKs and other digital content are forfeited to Kick when your account is terminated, unless the law requires otherwise. They also say there is no refund for unused subscription time if Kick suspends or terminates your account.
Can I make a new Kick account after a permanent ban?
No. Kick's terms say the service is not available to users Kick has previously removed, and its ban evasion rules say bans apply to the person. A new account can also hurt any appeal on the original one.
