Kick streamer losing income?
Updated 21 October 2026
If you stream on Kick for income and your channel was suspended, protect the money side first. Save the suspension email, screenshot your earnings and payout pages, and start a dated loss log. Then send one clear appeal to [email protected]. If you live in the EU, Kick must give reasons when it suspends your account or ends monetisation, you can complain for free, and the P2B Regulation may give you extra rights as a business user.
What is at stake for a Kick streamer
Several income streams can stop at once:
- Subscriptions. Kick says Partners get 95% of the subscription revenue they generate.
- The Kick Partner Program. Kick says it lets creators earn revenue per stream. Its terms say Kick may end your place at any time, and that you are not paid for time spent on content that breaks the rules if Kick suspends or bans you for it.
- KICKs and Gifts. Kick's KICKs policy says Kick may reverse or withhold earnings from KICKs and offset them against future payouts if it suspects fraud, chargebacks or a breach.
- Sponsors and brand deals that depend on you being live.
There is some good news in Kick's own appeals article: during a suspension, your followers, subscribers, content and earnings stay intact. It says nothing about permanent bans.
Do this today
- Screenshot your dashboard. Earnings, pending payouts, payout history, subscriber count, analytics. You may lose access later.
- Save every email from Kick, including any notice that a payout is paused for review. Kick's payout page says you get an email if that happens. Payout questions go to [email protected].
- Start a loss log. One line per item, with a date: streams cancelled, sponsor deliverables missed, the payout you expected and did not get. Use your own past figures from your dashboard, not guesses.
- Check your contracts. Sponsor deals may have clauses about platform outages or suspensions. Tell sponsors briefly and factually.
- Tell your community on other channels what is happening, without attacking Kick or the people you think reported you.
Your EU rights as a streamer
If you live in the EU:
- DSA Art. 17: Kick must give a clear and specific statement of reasons when it suspends an account or suspends or ends monetisation. A paused payout or a lost Partner Program place counts, not only a full ban.
- DSA Art. 20: a free internal complaint, open for at least six months, handled with a person involved. A wrong decision must be reversed without undue delay.
- DSA Art. 21: a certified out-of-court dispute body. None names Kick yet, but general bodies may take your case. If you win, Kick pays the fees and your reasonable costs. Use the dispute body finder and ask first.
- P2B Regulation (EU) 2019/1150, Art. 4: business users of online intermediation services get a statement of reasons when restricted or suspended, and at least 30 days' notice before termination, with exceptions. Whether Kick counts as one for your channel depends on the facts, so it may apply.
- GDPR Art. 15: a free copy of your personal data within one month.
- Court stays open. With real income at stake, legal advice can be worth it. We are not lawyers.
Outside the EU, Kick's appeal and support emails are your main route.
Writing an appeal as a business
Keep it short and professional. Kick wants your username, the account email, the date, the reason given, why it should be reviewed, and evidence. Add one or two sentences about your channel's history and what the action is costing you. Point to VOD timestamps and clips.
Kick says a team can send the appeal with your authorisation, but it may still check with you. Make sure you are reachable at the account email.
Don't risk the rest
Don't go live on a backup channel. Kick says bans apply to the person, and a new account can hurt your appeal. Be wary of anyone offering to "restore" a Partner place for a fee. For timing, see how long a Kick suspension lasts. If the appeal fails, read Kick appeal denied. The Kick overview has the full route.
What you stand to lose
A ban on Kick takes more than a profile. Think about what is on the account before you decide what to do.
- Years of photos, videos and posts you may not have saved anywhere else
- Messages and contacts, sometimes the only way you reach certain people
- The followers, subscribers or community you built
- Income: sales, sponsorships, payouts and the customers who find you there
- Other apps and sites where you sign in with this account
On Kick specifically
- Kick's help pages say your followers, subscribers, content and earnings stay intact during a suspension. The page says nothing about permanent bans.
- Unused KICKs. Kick's terms say unused KICKs and other digital content are forfeited to Kick when your account is terminated, unless the law requires otherwise.
- Paid subscriptions. Kick's terms say that if Kick suspends or terminates your account, there is no refund for unused subscription time.
- Partner Program fees. Kick's Partner terms say that if Kick suspends or bans you for content that breaks its rules, you are not paid for the time spent on that content. Kick may also end your Partner Program place at any time.
- Earnings from KICKs. Kick's KICKs policy says Kick may reverse or withhold your earnings from KICKs and offset them against future payouts if it suspects fraud, chargebacks or a policy breach.
- Time. Kick's help pages say an appeal does not pause your suspension.
Deadlines that are already running
- Complaint to Kick: open for at least six months from the day Kick told you about the decision (DSA Art. 20).
- Copy of your data: free, and Kick must answer within one month of your request (GDPR Art. 15). It is worth asking now.
