Kick account disabled?

Updated 21 October 2026

Why acting early matters: Your EU complaint window is at least six months from the day Kick told you about the decision. The longer an account is down, the more followers, customers and conversations move on. See what is at stake

If you cannot get into your Kick account, find out first whether Kick took action or something else went wrong. Kick's help pages say a suspended user gets an email explaining why, so search your inbox and spam folder. If it is a suspension or ban, you appeal by email to [email protected] from the address linked to your account. If you live in the EU, you also have a free complaint for at least six months and other rights under the Digital Services Act.

Work out which problem you have

Read the email from Kick

Kick says the suspension email names the Community Guideline breached and the date the action started. Note whether it says temporary suspension, indefinite suspension or permanent ban. Screenshot it and forward a copy to a second address you control.

If you live in the EU, the DSA (Art. 17) says Kick must give a clear and specific statement of reasons: the facts, the rule, whether automated tools were used, and how to challenge the decision. If the email only names a rule and no stream, clip or message, write that down. It is a fair point to raise in your appeal.

How to appeal

Kick asks for appeals by email to [email protected], sent from the email address linked to your account. Kick's appeals article says to include:

  1. Your username and the email on the account.
  2. The date of the suspension, as shown in the email.
  3. The reason Kick gave.
  4. Why you think it should be reviewed.
  5. Any evidence, such as VOD links, clips or screenshots.

Send one clear appeal and keep a copy with the date. Kick says sending several appeals on the same decision will not change the outcome.

Your EU rights

If you live in the EU:

Outside the EU, the email appeal to Kick is your main route. See the Kick overview for the full picture.

While you wait

Don't create a new account or stream on another channel. Kick says bans apply to the person, and a new account can hurt your appeal. Never hand your login to anyone promising to get your channel back. If the email says suspension, read Kick suspension. If you believe it was an error, see banned by mistake on Kick.

What you stand to lose

A ban on Kick takes more than a profile. Think about what is on the account before you decide what to do.

  • Years of photos, videos and posts you may not have saved anywhere else
  • Messages and contacts, sometimes the only way you reach certain people
  • The followers, subscribers or community you built
  • Income: sales, sponsorships, payouts and the customers who find you there
  • Other apps and sites where you sign in with this account

On Kick specifically

  • Kick's help pages say your followers, subscribers, content and earnings stay intact during a suspension. The page says nothing about permanent bans.
  • Unused KICKs. Kick's terms say unused KICKs and other digital content are forfeited to Kick when your account is terminated, unless the law requires otherwise.
  • Paid subscriptions. Kick's terms say that if Kick suspends or terminates your account, there is no refund for unused subscription time.
  • Partner Program fees. Kick's Partner terms say that if Kick suspends or bans you for content that breaks its rules, you are not paid for the time spent on that content. Kick may also end your Partner Program place at any time.
  • Earnings from KICKs. Kick's KICKs policy says Kick may reverse or withhold your earnings from KICKs and offset them against future payouts if it suspects fraud, chargebacks or a policy breach.
  • Time. Kick's help pages say an appeal does not pause your suspension.

Deadlines that are already running

  • Complaint to Kick: open for at least six months from the day Kick told you about the decision (DSA Art. 20).
  • Copy of your data: free, and Kick must answer within one month of your request (GDPR Art. 15). It is worth asking now.

Questions people ask

Why can't I log in to Kick?

It can be a suspension or ban, a hacked account, or a plain login problem. Kick's help pages say that if your account was suspended, you get an email explaining why. Search your inbox and spam folder for it before you do anything else.

Does Kick tell you why your account was disabled?

Kick says its suspension email explains why action was taken and which Community Guideline was breached, and gives the date. If you live in the EU, the DSA also requires a clear and specific statement of reasons.

I never got an email from Kick. What now?

Check spam and any old email address you used to sign up. If there is nothing, write to Kick from the address linked to your account and ask whether an action was taken and why. Keep a copy of what you send.

Can I just make a new Kick account?

Not while you are suspended or banned. Kick says its suspensions and bans apply to the person, and a new account can hurt any appeal on your original account.
