OnlyFans creator account banned?
Updated 21 October 2026
If you earn on OnlyFans and your account was suspended, deactivated or your earnings were held, treat it as a business problem. Save every notice, secure your financial records and start a dated loss log today. Then use two routes: the Deactivation Appeal Form for the account, and a complaint under the Complaints Policy for the earnings, both within six months. In the EU, OnlyFans must explain decisions about your monetisation, and the P2B Regulation may give you more.
What is at stake
OnlyFans' Terms call someone who uses OnlyFans for commercial reasons a "Business User". For a creator, a ban hits several things at once. The Terms and policies say:
- Earnings on hold. During a review OnlyFans may withhold your creator earnings and pause fan payments, without notice.
- Earnings forfeited. After the review it may treat earnings as forfeited, use them to set off losses it says you caused, and refund or cancel fan payments.
- Subscribers gone. The contract between fan and creator says fan access ends when the creator's account is suspended or terminated.
- Content locked. You cannot access your content after termination.
- No compensation. OnlyFans says it is not liable for lost earnings or subscribers, even when it grants your appeal.
- Tax. If tax obligations are not met, OnlyFans says it may restrict payouts or earnings.
Do this today
- Save the notice and every email about your account, content and payouts.
- Secure your money records. Payout emails, bank statements, tax records and any earnings screenshots you still have.
- Back up your content from your own devices and cloud storage. Don't count on getting it from OnlyFans.
- Tell partners in writing. Agencies, managers or co-creators who share income with you should hear it from you.
- Start the loss log.
Keep a loss log
One line per item, from the day of the decision:
- date
- what was lost: a payout not received, subscriptions that ended, a paid message campaign, a collaboration
- the amount, taken from your own past statements for a comparable period
- the proof: statement, email, contract
Don't estimate high and don't invent figures. A plain, documented log is what a dispute body, a mediator or a lawyer can use.
Your EU rights as a business
If you live in the EU:
- DSA Art. 17: a clear statement of reasons when OnlyFans suspends your account or suspends or ends your monetisation. Withheld earnings are covered, not only a full ban.
- DSA Art. 20: a free appeal, open for at least six months, handled by a person. A wrong decision must be reversed without undue delay.
- DSA Art. 21: a certified out-of-court body. If you win, OnlyFans pays the fees and your reasonable costs. OnlyFans says it is "not bound" by these bodies, but no body's decision is binding on any platform: the DSA asks for good faith engagement. No body names OnlyFans yet, so use the dispute body finder and ask first.
- P2B Regulation (EU) 2019/1150, Art. 4: business users get reasons when restricted or suspended, and at least 30 days' notice before termination, with exceptions. It may apply to your account, depending on the facts. OnlyFans' own Platform to Business Regulation Terms say they apply to creators in the EU and UK. Complaints under them go to [email protected]. They name two mediators: the CEDR P2B Panel of Mediators and the International Centre for Dispute Resolution.
- GDPR Art. 15: a free copy of your data, including earnings records, within one month, via [email protected].
- Court stays open. OnlyFans' Terms point business users to the courts of England and Wales. Get legal advice. We are not lawyers.
Outside the EU, the appeal form and the Complaints Policy are your routes.
Write it like a business
Keep both letters short and professional. Name your username, the decision and its date, the rule OnlyFans cited, and why the decision is wrong or out of proportion. State the amount held, from your statements. Ask for the facts behind the decision and a date for the end of the review.
Don't risk the rest
Don't sell through a second account or a friend's account while banned. That can count as getting around the ban and put both accounts at risk. Never give your login to an agency that promises to fix it. For timings, see how long an OnlyFans review takes. If your appeal failed, read OnlyFans appeal denied. What you stand to lose
A ban on OnlyFans takes more than a profile. Think about what is on the account before you decide what to do.
- Years of photos, videos and posts you may not have saved anywhere else
- Messages and contacts, sometimes the only way you reach certain people
- The followers, subscribers or community you built
- Income: sales, sponsorships, payouts and the customers who find you there
- Other apps and sites where you sign in with this account
On OnlyFans specifically
- OnlyFans' Terms say you will not be able to access your content after your account is terminated.
- Your earnings. OnlyFans' Terms say it may withhold your creator earnings while it reviews a case, and may then treat them as forfeited.
- Your subscribers. OnlyFans' contract between fan and creator says a fan's access ends when the creator's account is suspended or terminated.
- Prepaid subscriptions. OnlyFans' Terms say that if it terminates a fan account for breaking the Terms, payments, including prepaid subscriptions, are not refunded.
- Lost income during an appeal. OnlyFans' Appeals Policy says it is not liable for lost earnings or subscribers, even if your appeal succeeds.
Deadlines that are already running
- OnlyFans' Terms say that if you do not dispute a decision within six months of being notified, you lose the right to dispute it. Appeals go through its Deactivation Appeal Form.
- Complaint to OnlyFans: open for at least six months from the day OnlyFans told you about the decision (DSA Art. 20).
- Copy of your data: free, and OnlyFans must answer within one month of your request (GDPR Art. 15). It is worth asking now.
Questions people ask
Can OnlyFans keep my creator earnings?
OnlyFans' Terms say it may withhold earnings during a review and afterwards treat them as forfeited, or use them to set off losses it says your breach caused. You can dispute a forfeiture under its Complaints Policy. In the EU, OnlyFans must give reasons when it suspends or ends monetisation.
Does the P2B Regulation apply to OnlyFans creators?
OnlyFans says it complies with it and has separate Platform to Business Regulation Terms for creators in the EU and the UK. Whether the Regulation covers your account in law depends on the facts. It gives business users reasons for a restriction and, with exceptions, 30 days' notice before termination.
Who mediates disputes between OnlyFans and creators?
OnlyFans' Platform to Business Regulation Terms name the CEDR P2B Panel of Mediators and the International Centre for Dispute Resolution. Internal complaints under those terms go to [email protected] first.
Will OnlyFans pay for my lost income if my appeal wins?
OnlyFans' Appeals Policy says it is not liable for lost earnings or subscribers, even if it grants your appeal. Whether that clause holds in your case is a legal question. Keep a loss log either way.
